What a great way to kick off a three day weekend, an action packed morning with a really fun client and then a “Guide’s 1/2 day off. ”  The fish loved the cool morning and the bugs loved the sunny afternoon.  It doesn’t get any better than that.  The top photo is the poisson du jour, a lovely Brown Trout that took a nymph in the first 10 minutes of an afternoon with my favorite angling partner.  Below that, one of a number of chunky Rainbows that brightened a great morning with a tenkara first-timer but skilled angler and outdoorsman.  Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and please take a minute on Monday to remember and reflect on what the holiday is really all about.
