Baseball season is upon us and with it always comes baseball terminology. In case you’re not a fan, when a batter gets one of everything in a single game (single, double, triple and a homer) that’s called “Hitting for the cycle.” My partner this morning was both a fan and a former player. After a good number of Rainbows and Brookies we finally caught a Brown trout late in our morning out, an accomplishment he quickly termed “fishing for the cycle.” No matter what you call it, a morning on the water with fish like the Brookie pictured is a always a home run.
