It’s always fun to introduce an experienced fly fisher to the fun and simplicity of tenkara.  That’s exactly what I had the chance to do on Monday when I had the pleasure of fishing with an angler whose credentials and list of places fished are certainly more impressive than mine.  No matter how experienced you are, don’t think there’s nothing new in fly fishing for you until you’ve tried tenkara.   And just because you’re trying a new technique, that  doesn’t mean you can’t  keep your lucky hat!
