Today was one of those days when all the best fish seemed to have a major case of stage fright.  They kept getting off right at the net to avoid getting their picture taken.  Every one was a different story but all the stories ended the same.  We hung in there and finally got this handsome Brookie in the net for a quick photo-op.  Not to mention a lot of fine but slightly less bulky fish along the way.

I hope you too get a chance to do some tenkara fishing this holiday weekend.  While we enjoy our incredible American outdoor heritage, let’s all take a moment tomorrow to pause, remember and reflect on what Memorial Day is all about.
