I had the recent pleasure of being interviewed by our local paper, the Asheville Citizen Times, for  one of their “Living Portrait” articles.  The focus was on tenkara fishing, my involvement with it and its growing popularity here in western North Carolina.   I’ve gotten good feedback (and a good amount of teasing) following the article going up in last Friday’s paper.  The Asheville Citizen Times hardly constitutes hitting the “big time”…but I’ll take it!

I even got the photographer hooked up to a trout on a tenkara rod…maybe a future convert?
