We have been doing some serious stream creepin’ lately.  The low water has really put the wild fish on edge and there is no way to walk up on them without spooking them.  So we’ve been doing a lot of “duck walking”, crawlin’ and any other low profile way we can come up with to make sure that a nice Elk Hair Caddis  or other convincing fly  was the first thing of ours the trout saw.  The result has been some good fishing in beautiful surroundings (see photo above.) I’ll tell you, though, spend a day casting from a squatting position and  your knees will let you know the next day! Motrin, anyone?
